Room assignment is the process of allocating a specific room to a reservation before the check-in is completed. This can be applied either to same-day arrivals or to future reservations.
Purposes of Use:
- Selecting a suitable room according to floor plan, bed type, or view
- Checking room cleanliness status and occupancy
- Allocating rooms based on guest’s special requests
Steps:
Open the Reservation Screen
Click the Room Identifier Icon
- In the General Information section, click on the room icon in the Room Identifier field.
Select the Appropriate Room
- On the Room Selection screen that opens:
- Use the filters on the left panel (e.g., room type, cleanliness status) to narrow your search.
- Choose the appropriate room from the right panel.
Complete the Process
- Click the Save button to finalize the room assignment or change.
