Cut-Off Time (also known as Release Period) refers to the minimum number of days between the reservation date and the check-in date. This feature allows restrictions to be applied to selected rate plan categories for a defined number of days prior to guest arrival.

With this setting, selected rate plans are automatically closed for bookings made within the defined number of days prior to the check-in date, while room availability itself remains unaffected.

🔔 Note:Cut-Off Time is only applicable within the HotelRunner Booking Engine and is not supported by connected online travel agencies (OTAs).

How to Set Cut-Off Time

Follow these steps to configure Cut-Off Time:

  1. Navigate to Calendar > Bulk Updates and select the Cut-Off Time option.
  2. Select the applicable date range.
(Note: The update can be applied for a maximum of 45 days.)
  3. Choose the Cut-Off Time value to be applied to the selected rate plans.
  4. Since this update only affects the Booking Engine, make sure to select Online under the Channels section.
  5. Click Update.
  6. Review the preview screen and click Update again to confirm.

🔔 Note: Once the process is completed, rate plans with an applied Cut-Off Time will no longer be visible to guests in the Booking Engine for reservations within the specified date range.
