How to Reverse Stop Sell

Property Management System

To effectively manage room availability and address any restrictions imposed by previous stop sell settings, it is crucial to revert these settings when necessary. By doing so, you can ensure that your property’s inventory is accurately represented and available for booking. The following steps provide a clear process for canceling any previously applied stop sell restrictions and resuming normal availability.

Follow these steps to lift a previously applied Stop Sell restriction and make your rooms available for sale again:

1. Access the Bulk Updates Screen

  • First, navigate to Calendar > Bulk Updates.

2. Select Availability and Stop Sell Options

  • In the opened screen, check the Availability and Stop sell boxes on the left side of the update panel.

3. Define the Date Range

  • Select the date range to be updated by choosing the Start dates and End dates.

4. Remove Restriction and Enter New Availability

  • Under the Stop sell heading, select No.
  • In the Availability heading, enter your new availability figures.

5. Expedite the Process (Optional)

  • If this process will be applied to all room types, click the button. After entering the data, ensure it is applied to all room types by clicking the button.

🔔 Note: In this context, Online refers to both the HotelRunner panel and the Booking Engine.

🔔 Note: At this stage, existing reservations for the relevant day must be taken into account when updating room availability. Otherwise, there will be a risk of overbooking. If you wish, you can make daily room availability updates more easily and efficiently from the Calendar > Advanced Updates. (You may kindly check relevant document.)
