Child age ranges and the corresponding child rates defined in the HotelRunner Channel Manager panel are only valid for the Booking Engine. For managing child ages and pricing on the integrated online travel agencies (OTAs) your property is connected to, follow the guidance below.
Agencies Where Child Pricing Can Be Managed
Not all OTAs support integrated management of child pricing due to infrastructure limitations. The agencies where child pricing can be managed are:
- Otelz
- Setur
- Tatilsepeti
- Gezinomi
- Jolly
- Coral Travel
- Touristica
- Prime Travel
- HyperGuest
- Odiegeo
Managing Child Pricing in Supported OTAs
For OTAs where child pricing can be managed, follow these steps:
- Create child age ranges and child rates in the channel extranet.
- The child age definitions and rates created in the extranet will be reflected in the HotelRunner panel.
- In the HotelRunner panel, navigate to:
Channels > Online Travel Agencies > [Relevant Channel] > Room Type Mapping
Map the child definitions to the corresponding room types. - Note that prices cannot be set directly on this screen. Child prices are applied by scaling based on the selected price plan.
