How to Accept Online Payments via Virtual POS

Channel Manager

Virtual POS is a digital system that allows you to accept payments via credit or debit cards over the internet, without the need for a physical POS device. This document explains how this system operates and how it is configured for reservations made through your website.

1) An agreement must be reached with a bank or an authorized payment provider (such as Iyzico, Stripe, PayTR, Paratika, etc.).

2) Note down the technical information provided by the institution, such as the API Key and Secret Key.

3) Navigate to the My Property > Settings > Payment Methods tab.

4) Select Online Credit Card or the name of the relevant payment provider.

5) Enter the API information received from your service provider into the relevant fields and test the connection.

3D Secure: Ensure this option is active for secure payments. This ensures that the payment is completed using a confirmation code sent to the guest’s phone.

Installment Options: Based on your agreement, determine whether or not you will offer installment opportunities to your guests.

6) Perform a test reservation with a low amount on your own website to ensure the system is working correctly.

7) Verify that the payment has been successfully completed and that it appears in the system with Confirmed status.

🔔 Note: The Virtual POS configuration and online payment processes described in this guide are valid only for reservations made through your hotel’s official website. For reservations coming from agencies (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) or other channels, the respective channel’s own payment rules and commission terms will apply.
