If price or availability information is not visible on distribution channels, follow these troubleshooting steps
1. Update Process and Temporary Display Delays
After updating rates, availability, minimum/maximum stay, CTA/CTD, or stop-sell:
- The primary check should be done via the Simple Updates Calendar.
- Updates may not be transmitted to channels instantly; this process can take a few minutes depending on the channel’s technical infrastructure.
- During this period, the system may display warnings such as “Updating” or “Waiting for Channel Response”.
- Once the transmission is complete, the updated data will appear in the Simple Updates Calendar.
2. Update Not Completed or Not Sent
If updates are still not visible or have not been sent, the following checks should be performed:
a. No Data in Calendar
- This indicates that rate or availability data has not been entered for the selected date range.
- Action: Enter the required data via Calendar > Bulk Updates.
b. Red Cross (❌)
- This indicates that the update failed to transmit to the channel.
- Action: Contact the HotelRunner Support Team for technical investigation.
c. Red Stripe (🟥)
- This indicates 0 availability for the selected date.
- Action: Verify existing reservations via Calendar > Advanced Updates and increase availability if necessary.
3. Verify Successful Transmission
- After all checks, ensure a green check mark (✅) appears next to the entered rate and availability data in the Simple Updates Calendar.
- This indicates that the update has been successfully transmitted and is active on the channel.
