The Multi-Window feature in HotelRunner PMS was developed to allow users to view and manage all folios created within a reservation simultaneously on a single screen.

This feature enables you to:
- Easily manage postings, payments, extra items, and invoicing across multiple folios.
- Quickly perform transfers of items between different folios.
- Accelerate your workflow and reduce the risk of errors.
How to Use Multi-Window
1. Open the Folios Tab
- Navigate to the Folios tab within the reservation screen.
2. Activate Multi-Window Mode
- Click the “More” button at the top-right corner of the tab.
- Select “Multi-Window” from the dropdown menu.
3. Add a New Folio (Optional)
- In Multi-Window mode, click “Add Folio” at the top or side of the screen to create a new folio.
- You can now view multiple folio screens simultaneously.
4. Transfer Items Between Folios
- In the Multi-Window screen, you can multi-select items (postings, payments, extras, etc.) and drag-and-drop them from one folio to another.
- This allows for faster management and correction of items.
5. Additional Actions
- All actions available in the single folio view are also available in Multi-Window mode:
- Add postings
- Enter payments
- Add extra items
- Issue invoices
- Select and delete empty folios if needed.
Advantages of Using Multi-Window
- Time Saving: Managing multiple folios simultaneously is much faster than opening them one by one.
- Reduced Errors: Transferring items between folios keeps accounts more organized.
- Ease of Use: Monitoring all reservation accounts on a single screen simplifies workflows.
