How to Manage the Online Tasks Tab on the Reservation Screen

To effectively monitor interdepartmental workflow and task assignments, you can utilize the Tasks tab within the reservation screen. This feature is designed to enhance your organization’s efficiency and ensure that tasks are managed accurately. By assigning tasks to specific departments, tracking their progress, and monitoring completion times, you can contribute to the smooth and orderly execution of your business processes.

1. Access the Tasks Section

  • Access the Tasks section by clicking on the relevant tab within the reservation screen.
  • Click the Add Task button to begin defining a new task.

2. Specify Task Details

  • Task Type: Select the description of the task to be performed from this field. Task types are categorized to facilitate interdepartmental coordination.
  • Description: Use this field for free text entry to detail the task and specify any special requirements. This ensures tasks are clear and comprehensible.
  • Department: Choose the department to which the task is assigned from this field. This aids in directing tasks accurately to the relevant departments.
  • End Date: Set the date and time by which the task must be completed in this field. This is essential for time management and timely task completion.
  • Status: Update the current status of the task using the “Pending,” “In Progress,” or “Completed” statuses. This is crucial for tracking the workflow and monitoring task progress.

3. Save the Task

  • Click the Save button to save and assign the task.
