Managing child rates involves adjusting rate plans<\/strong> based on predetermined child age ranges. This process ensures that your hotel applies appropriate pricing policies for child guests.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

Steps to Manage Child Pricing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to My Property > Settings > Rate Plans<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Under the Master Rate<\/strong> heading, click on each room type to introduce child rates.\n
      \n
    • If other rate plans are managed independently from the Master Rate, repeat the process for room types connected to those rate plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Configure child pricing according to the predefined age ranges<\/strong>:\n

      • Apply a fixed discount<\/strong> based on the currency in use (e.g., EUR, USD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Apply a percentage discount<\/strong> relative to the adult rate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Use the Net option<\/strong> to set a specific net amount for the child price.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Optionally, set child rates to be free of charge<\/strong> for any desired age range.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
