You can use the <\/span>Folio transfer <\/b>option to move a posting or a payment to a guest’s account from the current folio to a different folio created within the same reservation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

Follow these steps to transfer a transaction item (charge or payment) to a different folio within the same reservation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access the Guest Folio and Add a New Folio (If Necessary)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Access the guest folio by navigating to the Folios section<\/strong> on the reservation screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Important:<\/strong> If there is only one folio created on the screen, you will need to add a new folio using the Add Folio<\/strong> option to enable the Folio transfer<\/strong> process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Select the “Folio transfer” Option<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Reopen the first folio<\/strong> screen (the source folio).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Right-click<\/strong> on the transaction you wish to transfer to another folio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Select the Folio transfer<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Choose the Target Folio and Save<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • Choose the destination folio from the Target Folio<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Click the Save<\/strong> button to complete the action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n
