Geo Rate Deal is a promotional offer available through the Booking Engine<\/strong> only, specifically targeting guests from designated locations, regions, or countries. This deal allows properties to tailor pricing and incentives based on geographical criteria, enhancing targeted marketing efforts and optimizing occupancy strategies.<\/p>\n

To add a Geo Rate Deal to the HotelRunner panel, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

1. Access Promotions Screen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to My Property > Promotions<\/strong> in the HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Deals<\/strong> section on the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the Add deal<\/strong> button to create a new deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Select Deal Type<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select the Geo rate<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n\n\n\n

      3. Discount and Basic Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Choose the Discount rate<\/strong> to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter the Name<\/strong> and Description<\/strong>, selecting the language in which it should appear in the HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n\n\n\n

        4. Cancellation Policy, Photo, and Meal Plan<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Choose a Cancellation policy<\/strong> for the deal.\n
            \n
          • Inherited<\/strong> option is based on the cancellation policy associated with the selected rate plan during the Room types selection stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Add an image for the deal in the Photo<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Choose a Meal plan<\/strong> for the deal.\n

            • Inherited<\/strong> option is based on the meal plan associated with the selected rate plan during the Room types selection stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              5. Sellable Markets<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              1. Choose Sellable markets<\/strong> to use the deal in special markets.\n
                  \n
                • Since this deal is geo-targeted, selecting appropriate markets is crucial to effectively reach the intended audience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                  \n\n\n\n

                  6. Payment Methods and Dates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  1. Select valid Available payment methods<\/strong> for this deal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Enter required details for Stay starts at<\/strong>, Stay ends at<\/strong>, Book date starts<\/strong>, Book date ends<\/strong>, and Excluded dates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. Define the specific Days<\/strong> included in the deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                    \n\n\n\n

                    7. Visibility and Codes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                      \n
                    1. To promote the deal within the booking engine, activate Promote in Packages & Offers page<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. Optionally, include Corporate Codes<\/strong> and Codes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    3. Specify the Applicable rate types<\/strong> for the deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      8. Room Types and Save<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                        \n
                      1. Choose the Room types<\/strong> intended for this deal.\n
                          \n
                        • Ensure that if the Master Rate<\/strong> is not actively used as a rate plan, it remains unselected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Click Save<\/strong> to create the deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
