The Last Minute Deal<\/strong> is a promotional strategy designed to offer discounted rates to guests who make late bookings. This type of deal helps attract last-minute travelers, fill remaining vacancies, and maximize revenue.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

1. Access the Promotions Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Navigate to My Property > Promotions<\/strong> in the HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Deals<\/strong> section on the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the Add deal<\/strong> button to create a new deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    \n\n\n\n

    2. Select Deal Type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Click the Last minute<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n\n\n\n

      3. Discount and Basic Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. In the Discount rate<\/strong> field, select the discount you want to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter the Name<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> in the languages added to the HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n\n\n\n

        4. Cancellation Policy, Photo, and Meal Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. In the Cancellation policy<\/strong> field, select the cancellation policy for the deal.\n
            \n
          • The Inherited<\/strong> option adopts the cancellation policy from the rate plan selected during the Room types stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Add an image for the deal in the Photo<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Select the applicable Meal plan<\/strong>.\n

            • The Inherited<\/strong> option adopts the meal plan from the rate plan selected during the Room types stage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
              \n\n\n\n

              5. Sharing and Sellable Markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                \n
              1. Use the Share my content with 3rd parties<\/strong> option to share the deal on channels with appropriate infrastructure (active if suitable channels exist).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              2. Select Sellable markets<\/strong> to define where the deal will be available.\n
                  \n
                • Select all markets if the deal applies to all.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • In the Available payment methods<\/strong> field, select the payment methods valid for this deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                  \n\n\n\n

                  6. Booking and Stay Dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  1. Fill in Stay starts at<\/strong>, Stay ends at<\/strong>, and Excluded dates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Define the Day<\/strong> field to specify the days included in the deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                    \n\n\n\n

                    7. Promotion Visibility and Codes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                      \n
                    1. Activate Promote in Packages & Offers page<\/strong> if you want the deal prominently displayed in the Booking Engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. Optionally, include Corporate Codes<\/strong> or Codes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    3. Specify the rate types under Applicable rate types<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                      \n\n\n\n

                      8. Room Types and Booking Timing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                        \n
                      1. Choose the Room types<\/strong> for which the deal applies.\n
                          \n
                        • If the Master Rate<\/strong> is not actively used as a rate plan, any dependent plans should remain unselected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • Specify when the guests should book<\/strong> to benefit from the deal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
