The Multi-Window<\/b> feature in HotelRunner PMS was developed to allow users to view and manage all folios created within a reservation simultaneously on a single screen.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

This feature enables you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Easily manage postings, payments, extra items, and invoicing<\/strong> across multiple folios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Quickly perform transfers<\/strong> of items between different folios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Accelerate your workflow and reduce the risk of errors.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    How to Use Multi-Window<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Open the Folios Tab<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Navigate to the Folios tab<\/strong> within the reservation screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      2. Activate Multi-Window Mode<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Click the “More”<\/strong> button at the top-right corner of the tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Select “Multi-Window”<\/strong> from the dropdown menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        3. Add a New Folio (Optional)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • In Multi-Window mode, click “Add Folio”<\/strong> at the top or side of the screen to create a new folio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • You can now view multiple folio screens simultaneously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          4. Transfer Items Between Folios<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • In the Multi-Window screen, you can multi-select<\/strong> items (postings, payments, extras, etc.) and drag-and-drop<\/strong> them from one folio to another.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • This allows for faster management and correction of items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            5. Additional Actions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • All actions available in the single folio view are also available in Multi-Window mode:\n
                \n
              • Add postings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Enter payments<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Add extra items<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Issue invoices<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Select and delete<\/strong> empty folios if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
