Front Office &gt; Check-out<\/strong> from the main menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate and <strong>open the reservation card<\/strong> of the guest scheduled for check-out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The system will automatically redirect you to the <strong>Folio tab<\/strong>, where you can view all financial details (postings, payments) related to the reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before starting, ensure you are working in the correct folio if <strong>multiple folios<\/strong> exist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Verify Room Night Postings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check that all <strong>room night charges<\/strong> (<code>day_postings<\/code>) for the guest\u2019s stay are correctly reflected in the folio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normally, all nights except the departure day should appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Example:<\/strong> For a 3-night stay (Check-in: 01\/07, Check-out: 04\/07), <code>day_postings<\/code> should appear for July 1, 2, and 3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exceptions:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Room night charges might have been posted under another room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some items may have been transferred from a different reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Such discrepancies are informational and may not require correction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, the folio may include not only room charges, but also: <strong>Minibar, Extra bed, Late check-out, Restaurant or other ancillary charges.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enter Payment to Balance the Account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter a payment <strong>equal to the total outstanding balance.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add Payment<\/strong>, then enter the amount and select the payment method (Cash, Credit Card, Virtual POS, Bank Transfer, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After saving, ensure that the <strong>Total Charges and Amount Paid are equal.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For detailed instructions, refer to the <strong>\u201cHow to Add a Payment\u201d<\/strong> document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the Account Balance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the left side of the screen, ensure that <strong>TOTAL and AMOUNT PAID are equal.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When these amounts match, the folio balance will show <strong>0<\/strong>, indicating that all financial transactions for check-out are complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>If the amounts do not match:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check whether there are <strong>multiple folio tabs<\/strong> at the top of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure <strong>all folios<\/strong> have been fully balanced (no remaining outstanding amounts).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Click \u201cCheck-out\u201d to Complete the Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After verifying all details, click the <strong>Check-out<\/strong> button, located at the top or bottom right of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The system will update the reservation status to <strong>\u201cChecked-out\u201d.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The reservation is now officially closed, and the guest account is fully settled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to Check-out a Reservation?
