A Basic Deal<\/strong> is a simple promotional offer that provides discounted rates for guests without any specific rules or conditions.
This type of deal allows properties to attract a wider audience and increase bookings through straightforward price reductions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

Access the Deals Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. From the HotelRunner top menu, navigate to My Property > Promotions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Deals<\/strong> section on the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the Add Deal<\/strong> button to start creating a new deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Select Deal Type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Choose the Basic Deal<\/strong> option from the list of deal types.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      <\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Set Discount Rate and Basic Info<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. In the Discount rate<\/strong> field, enter the discount to apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Fill in the Name<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> fields for the deal.\n
          \n
        • Select the language in which the deal should appear in the HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Configure Cancellation Policy, Image, and Meal Plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          1. In the Cancellation policy<\/strong> field, select the cancellation rule for this deal.\n
              \n
            • Inherited<\/strong> applies the cancellation policy from the rate plan chosen during the Room Types selection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Add an image for the deal in the Photo<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • In the Meal plan<\/strong> field, select the applicable meal plan.\n

              • Inherited<\/strong> applies the meal plan from the chosen rate plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Sharing Options and Markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. If desired, enable Share my content with 3rd parties<\/strong> to share the deal on channels with compatible infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. In the Sellable markets<\/strong> field, select the markets where this deal will be active.\n
                    \n
                  • To make it global, select All markets<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    Payment Methods and Dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                      \n
                    1. In the Available payment methods<\/strong> field, select the valid payment methods for this deal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. Enter the relevant dates in the following fields:\n
                        \n
                      • Stay starts at<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Stay ends at<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Book date starts<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Book date ends<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Excluded dates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                        <\/div>\n\n\n\n

                        Define Days, Rate Types, and Room Types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                          \n
                        1. In the Day<\/strong> field, select the specific days on which the deal is active.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        2. Optionally, add Corporate Codes<\/strong> or Codes<\/strong> for restricted access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        3. Under Applicable rate types<\/strong>, choose which rate types can use this deal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        4. In the Room types<\/strong> field, select which rooms this deal applies to.\n
                            \n
                          • If the Master Rate<\/strong> is not active, do not select rate plans linked to it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            Promote and Save the Deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                              \n
                            1. To highlight the deal in the Booking Engine, enable Promote in Packages & Offers page<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                            2. Click Save<\/strong> to complete the creation of the Basic Deal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
