Packages<\/strong> are discounted promotional offers created by combining pre-defined extras with accommodation.
On the HotelRunner panel, standard discounts are managed under the Deals<\/strong> menu, while accommodation + extra combinations are managed under the Packages<\/strong> menu.
The process of creating a package follows the same structure as creating a deal.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

Accessing the Packages Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. From the HotelRunner top menu, click My Property > Promotions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Open the Packages<\/strong> section from the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the Add Package<\/strong> button to open the package creation screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Selecting the Package Type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. From the screen that opens, choose the type of package<\/strong> you want to create.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      <\/div>\n\n\n\n

      Defining Basic Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. In the Discount Rate<\/strong> field, set the discount rate to be applied (net or percentage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Enter the required details in the Name<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. In the Cancellation Policy<\/strong> field, select the applicable cancellation rule.\n
          \n
        • The Inherited<\/strong> option adopts the cancellation policy associated with the rate plan chosen during the Room Types selection step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Upload a visual for the package via the Photo<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • In the Meal Plan<\/strong> field, select the applicable meal plan.\n

          • The Inherited<\/strong> option adopts the meal plan associated with the rate plan chosen during the Room Types selection step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Setting Market and Payment Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            1. In the Sellable Markets<\/strong> field, select the markets where the package will be displayed.\n
                \n
              • If the package applies to all markets, you can select All<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • In the Available Payment Methods<\/strong> field, choose the valid payment types for this package.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                Defining Date Ranges and Days<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. Select the Booking Start-End<\/strong> and Stay Start-End<\/strong> dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                2. In the Excluded Dates<\/strong> field, define the dates when the package will not be valid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                3. Mark the days of the week<\/strong> on which the package will be active.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  Display and Access Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                    \n
                  1. Enable the Promote in Packages & Offers Page<\/strong> option to display the package in a separate tab on the Booking Engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Use the Corporate Code<\/strong> and Code<\/strong> fields to create unique access codes, allowing only specific users to view the package.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    Defining Rate and Room Type Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                      \n
                    1. In the Applicable Rate Types<\/strong> field, select Refundable<\/strong> and\/or Non-Refundable<\/strong> options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    2. In the Room Types<\/strong> field, choose the applicable room types and rate plan categories.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      Adding Extras<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                        \n
                      1. From the Extras<\/strong> field, select the pre-defined extras to be included in the package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      2. If the Free<\/strong> option is active, extras will be included without additional adjustment to the discount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      3. Use the Maximum<\/strong> field to set how many times an extra can be used in the package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      4. By disabling the Free<\/strong> option, you can apply additional net<\/strong> or percentage<\/strong>-based discounts to the predefined rate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                        Saving the Package<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
                          \n
                        1. Once all fields are completed, click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        2. After the package is created, repeat these definitions for all languages<\/strong> registered on your HotelRunner panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
