The Room Rack<\/b> is a detailed interface that allows you to view rooms in your property according to their housekeeping status. It also enables you to create new reservations and perform various operations like check-in, check-out, and folio transactions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

Accessing and Understanding the Interface<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Access:<\/strong> You can access this page from PMS > Housekeeping > Room Rack<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • View Settings:<\/strong> You can adjust the size of the tiles representing each room by clicking the Change view type<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Legend:<\/strong> The Legend (Badge description)<\/strong> button indicates which color represents which room or reservation status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Filtering Rooms<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • From the Parameters<\/strong> section on the right side of the interface, you can filter rooms based on various criteria:\n
        \n
      • Cleanliness Status:<\/strong> List rooms based on their status, such as Clean or Dirty.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Room Condition\/State:<\/strong> Filter rooms by their state, such as Occupied, Vacant, Arriving, or Departing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Room Types and Floors:<\/strong> Display only the rooms of a specific type or on a particular floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • When you select a room status, the corresponding rooms will be highlighted in red<\/strong> on the view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Performing Actions on Rooms<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        You can perform quick actions by clicking on the room tiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Left-Click Actions:<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Vacant Room:<\/strong> Clicking on a vacant room opens the Quick Reservation<\/strong> page, allowing you to create a new reservation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Occupied or Expected Room:<\/strong> Clicking on an occupied, arriving, or departing room takes you to that room’s reservation interface for detailed operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Right-Click Actions:<\/strong>\n

            • By right-clicking on a room, you can access a menu to:\n

              • Change the room’s status to Clean, Dirty,<\/strong> or Out of Order<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
