{"id":1237,"date":"2025-09-28T10:46:52","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T07:46:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.hotelrunner.com\/?p=1237"},"modified":"2026-01-20T14:03:44","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T11:03:44","slug":"how-to-manage-direct-sales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/support.hotelrunner.com\/en\/how-to-manage-direct-sales\/","title":{"rendered":"How to manage direct sales"},"content":{"rendered":"    <div class=\"alert-section abstract\">\n        <div class=\"alert-section-inner\">\n                        <p><p>You can use the <b>Direct Sales<\/b> feature to create a folio for a non-staying guest and add payments or postings to the created folio.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    \n\n\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accessing the Direct Sales Page<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can access Direct Sales through <strong>PMS &gt; Cashier &gt; Direct Sales<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Initiating a New Direct Sale<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>New direct sale<\/strong> button on the Direct Sales screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Entering Sale Details<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Title:<\/strong> In the new screen, you can optionally specify a name for the folio in this section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Account:<\/strong> In this section, you can search and select from all existing profiles (Individual\/Company\/Agency) in HotelRunner PMS, or create a new profile if one does not already exist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saving the Direct Sale Account<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After entering the necessary information, save the account by clicking the <strong>Save<\/strong> button.
