In the Payment Methods menu, you can articulate the payment methods utilized and accepted during the booking process at your property. The details entered in this menu delineate the available payment options for guests and outline the supported payment methods at your property.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n

\ud83d\udd14\u00a0 Important Notes Before You Start<\/b><\/h4>\n

  • Default Setting:<\/b> The Cash – Pay at the property<\/b> option is preconfigured in the HotelRunner panel settings. If your property adheres to a fixed operational model and does not accommodate flexible working arrangements, it is advisable to deactivate the cash payment option to ensure the effective implementation of the cancellation policy.<\/li>\n
  • Deactivation Rule:<\/b> To disable any payment method, it is essential to define at least one alternative payment option. Failure to do so will restrict the deactivation of the payment method within the system.<\/li>\n
  • The payment methods created here are used only within the HotelRunner Channel Manager. They are not reflected on connected OTAs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n\n\n

    Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Accessing the Payment Methods Page<\/strong>\n

      • To access the Payment methods menu, navigate to My Property > Settings > Payment methods<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. Initiating the New Payment Method Process<\/strong>\n
            \n
          • Click the Add payment method<\/strong> button located in the upper right corner of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            1. Selecting the Payment Method Type<\/strong>\n
                \n
              • Select the preferred payment method; in this instance, we’ll proceed with Mail Order<\/strong> as the designated option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
                  \n
                1. Configuring the Payment Method<\/strong>\n
                    \n
                  • Name:<\/strong> On the ensuing page, update the name of your payment method to be displayed in all languages defined in the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Description:<\/strong> In the Description<\/strong> field, provide a brief explanation of how you will execute the mail order withdrawal process, allowing guests to understand the withdrawal procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Other Settings:<\/strong> Input details such as the display where your Mail Order payment method will be shown, the associated revenue account, the designated markets, supported currency, available rates, and accepted credit card types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                      • Once all required fields are updated, click the Save<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

                        • Language Settings:<\/b> During the payment method creation process, you can select from the languages defined in the HotelRunner panel and enter your information in the language of your choice.<\/li>\n
