- Steps to Consider Before Setting Up the Connection:
- The price and availability details of all rooms must be identified on the “Calendar” section of HotelRunner extranet before setting up this connection. After connecting, HotelRunner will upload your full inventory on Wimdu.
- When your Wimdu iCal connection is set up, you will be notified by HotelRunner with an e-mail showing the reservations you receive through Wimdu. You can also view your bookings from the Bookings field on the upper menu of HotelRunner panel.
- Obtaining Approval from the Channel for XML Connection
- No approval is needed for connection.
- Connection
- From the upper menu of the HotelRunner panel, please first click Channels / Online Travel Agencies sections respectively.
- Please follow the instructions by selecting “Connect” to the Wimdu agency.
- Mapping
- In the room mapping screen, your rooms defined on HotelRunner system will appear on the left-hand field. Please first select Send for the rooms you would like to assign price and availability on the Wimdu channel from the right-hand field.
- Please copy and paste in the Channels iCal URL field the iCal URL of your relevant room on Wimdu channel.
- From the opening window, please click your relevant room’s iCal URL and then paste it into the Channels iCal URL field of your room on HotelRunner. Please follow the similar steps for each of your rooms and click Save-Next to complete mapping.
Wimdu Connection
- Activation
- After this process, please tap “Activate” in the final step of the Wimdu link in HotelRunner panel.
- After the Wimdu iCal connection is completed, all the inventory (availability) information on your HotelRunner calendar will be uploaded on your Wimdu control panel.
