How to stop sales?

To stop your sales through the HotelRunner panel, please apply the following steps.

Stopping sales through the Basic Updates calendar:

  • Please first go to the upper menu of HotelRunner panel and click Calendar / Basic Updates
  • Please click the Continue button from the pop-up window.
  • From the left hand side,please select the Room Type, channel(s) you wish to perform updates for and the Start-End Dates.
  • Please typezero (0) in the availability field and then click Apply.
  • Check your actions from the opening preview window and then click Update to complete your action.
  • Finally, the availability status of a specific room will correspond to zero on the dates you have selected.
    If you would like to perform the same action for all your rooms, you can do so through the Bulk Updates.

Stopping sales through the Bulk Updates calendar:

  • Please go to the upper menu of HotelRunner panel and click Calendar / Bulk Updates 
  • Please select Stop Sales from the “What Would You Like To Update?” left field.
  • Please select the Start / End dates you wish to stop sales for.
  • Please select “Yes” for “stop sales status” of the rooms you wish to stop sales from the Stop Sales options field in the middle.

  • Finally, please select the channels you wish to perform actions for from the right-hand side and then click Update to complete the action.
  • Check your actions from the opening preview window and then click Update to complete your action.
    You can view your Bulk Updates calendar actions through the Basic Updates
    To resume sales for rooms you have applied the Stop Sales method, you need to select No for their “Stop Sales status” from the Bulk Updates calendar.. Click here for further information.
