Theme Setup
- You must first setup the theme on the system to use it on the HotelRunner system. To do this, please click Channels / Website from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- You may use any theme available in the system and change it any time.
- Hover over the theme you wish to setup and then click Apply to integrate your theme with the system. After setting up your theme, the Preview button will pop up on it. Please click this button to follow the changes on your site when building it.
Pages
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Themes / Edit Content steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- Please click Pages in the left hand menu.
- The pages menu includes your web pages on your website (Homepage, About Us, Gallery, Contact etc.)
- Please click on the page you want to edit and perform the necessary actions.
- If you wish to add a new page for your website, please click the Add Page Please assign a name tag for your new page from the opening window. When you create your tag, the Slug field is automatically generated. Then please select a page layout and then select it as top category in a field of your choice. Please click Save to create your page.Slug refers to the tag name in the URL texts of web pages and changing it is not advisable. Example: https://my-hotel.com/en/pages/new-page
Adding a New Page on your Website
- Finally, you must edit your page according to the layout you have selected (e.g. adding and naming a content field). To display your page on your website, please change the X mark to checkbox on the top right and then click Save to complete your action.
Translations
- You must type the keyword equivalents and content in the translations To do this, please click Channels / Website / Edit Content / Translations from the upper menu of HotelRunner. In the below example, user types the Turkish translation of book_now. This way, Turkish translation of book_now will be displayed whenever your guest see the book_now fields on your website.
Editing Translations
Blog Posts
Blog pages have a crucial role for your SEO efforts. You can create a blog page on your HotelRunner website and share those posts with your guests.
- To do this, please click Channels / Website / Edit Content / Blog Posts from the upper menu of HotelRunner. Click Add Post from the top right to create blog posts.
- You must enter such details as post title, language, author, category, name and content in the opening field.
- Lastly, please specify the Publishing Date, Tags, Short Description, and if your post is published, and then click Save.
- As one of the options, you may benefit from the tags field for your SEO efforts. You should type the commonly-searched words, relating to the subject you are interested in, which is critical for you to be active on search engines.

Links
- To do this, please click Channels / Website / Edit Content / Links from the upper menu of HotelRunner. In the links section, you may connect your page menus, add links to certain pages and manage to receive more clicks.
- Please click Add link from top right to add a new connection. Please name the page menu on the left hand section, select the connection type and save your action.
Add Lİnk-Edit
- Main Page: Facilitates connection to your homepage.
- Page:Facilitates connection between your pages and menus on your website.
- Link:Facilitates redirections from your menus to the extensions you add.
- Link List:Facilitate connection for you to create sub-menus.
- Blog:Facilitates connection for you to add your blog page on to the left hand menu of your website.
Profile
- You may edit your general profile settings from the Profile menu on your website without involvement in the other HotelRunner menus.
Room Types
- You may edit your Room types from the Room Types menu on your website without involvement in the HotelRunner menus.
Gallery
- You may check and edit how the images display on your website by tagging your photos from the Gallery field on your website.
Settings
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Edit Content / Customization steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- From Settings, you can name your theme, select if you want to use a blog or not, and specify the number of your blog posts as well as determine if you will publish your blog comments.
Booking Button Customization
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Edit Content / Customization steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- From the booking button customization field, you can perform the necessary improvements for your booking button.
Theme Customization
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Edit Content / Customization steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- From the Theme Customization field, you can choose a theme color and edit theme views.
Editing the Language Options
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Edit Content / Languages steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner.
- Click on your defined language to select it as the first language or set it to the passive-active (live) mode or simply remove it.
- From the Languages field, please click Add Language to add a language defined on the system and include it on your website.

For each language you add, you must enter the relevant content, define the keywords and content from the translations field and create relevant menu links from the connections field.

Publishing Your Site
- Please follow the Channels / Website / Edit Content / Customization steps from the upper menu of HotelRunner to publish your site.
